Hyundai Kona Electric Price Revised; To Start From Rs 59.96 Lakh

Keeping in view the growing demand for electric vehicles, the Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has revised the price of the Kona Electric GL variant.

The Kona Electric GL is now priced at Rs 59,96,000. The Kona Electric GL was earlier priced at Rs 61.96 Lakh. On the other hand, the price of the Kona Electric GLS variant remains unchanged. It continues to be available at Rs 64.96 Lakh.

The Hyundai Kona is powered by a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery with a range of up to 305 km on a single charge. The electric motor of the Kona makes 134 hp and 395 Nm of instant torque. A 100 kW DC fast charger will charge the battery to 80 percent in just 54 minutes.

The Kona Electric gets an extensive Smart Sense safety suite, regenerative braking, paddle shifters, a shift-by-wire system, and climate pre-settings. The front comes with a new grille and daytime running lights and has also received a wider set of tail lights to emphasize the car's presence on the street.

With its 8" touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation System, the new Kona Electric provides a superior spatial experience. The layout and packaging of the cells give the Kona Electric a low centre of gravity that promotes agile handling and a comfortable ride.The Kona Electric will be available in Atlas White, Cyber Gray, Galactic Gray, Pulse Red, Surfy Blue and Dark Knight.
